Hedge Fund Regulation

The Madoff scandal is still the most prevelant story discussing hedge funds. However, outside of Madoff there are many hedge fund stories which are not being covered like hedge fund regulation. One of the biggest stories of November 2008 was the testimony be hedge fund managers to Congress. This testimony was widely quoted from and actually showed a willingness by hedge fund managers to accept some level of regulation in the future. This video brings us back to those hearings and reminds us that the bigger story than Madoff for most hedge funds will be hedge fund regulation through registration.
